ET Online reports the two have been friends for many years. Behind the scenes footage from Alicia Key’s music video “Show Me Love” appears to show Michael and Lori together. We can’t confirm if it’s really them or not, but it would confirm the timeline of their alleged “friendship” since the video dropped in September 2019.

After their alleged friendship, things reportedly heated up and the couple made things Instagram official on January 10, 2021. On separate Instagram posts, People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive shared a dimly lit photo of the two of them, while Lori offered the same vibe in her own Instagram post.

For Lori’s birthday, Michael took to the Gram and shouted out his love with the perfect winter photo and a video of them. And a week later, The Shade Room posted exclusive flicks of the couple laid out in the sun, cuddled up, and chilling on a private yacht. We’d eventually get more up close and personal pics on Michael and Lori’s Instagrams, as they posted their own photos for us to enjoy with sweet captions and tags of one another.

Still, there are those who are skeptical about Hollywood’s latest “it couple.” For example, a source told People magazine in January 2021 they had been dating for months. And that’s where a lot of questions arose because “months” is a bit too ambiguous for the internet.
In October 2020, The Shade Room shared a video of Lori all hugged up with Akon’s brother, Bu Thaim outside an Atlanta nightclub. Hmmm…
