Teen Vogue sat with Rihanna’s makeup artist, Mylah Morales, and spit rounds of questions about the beauty guru. Rightfully so, viewers wanted to know about the glow Rihanna rocks so effortlessly. Mylah confirmed Rihanna uses the Fenty Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil “to get the glow.”
Warning: it includes A LOT of glitter. But for nights out and special occasions, looking like a disco ball isn’t too bad, is it?
Shea butter love
Byrdie chatted with Fenty’s global makeup artist Priscilla Ono. She’s the one who helps the songstress with her international looks during Fenty launches. According to Priscilla, she uses shea butter to hydrate Rihanna’s lips.
In case you weren’t aware, shea butter is full of nutrients, including Vitamin A, which heals dry skin, reduces blemishes, and treats eczema.
Perfect foundation
Sitting in hundreds of makeup chairs afforded Rihanna a very unique perspective. Hollywood is often criticized for not being inclusive when offering beauty and makeup options for people of color. Rihanna spoke with Time and shared, “I’ve had my makeup done thousands of times, and when it comes to foundation, you just never know how it’s going to turn out.”
When it comes to foundation, she believes it should always “look like great skin” after it’s applied, and we agree. She added, “you want a dewy look, but never shiny!”

Rihanna logged onto her Fenty YouTube channel and shared how she perfects her “no-makeup” makeup look. According to Rihanna and her makeup artist, it’s all in your finger.
Using your finger allows you to put the right amount of product in the right spot. You can still blend it with your brush, of course, but using your finger to apply products to cheeks or to highlight and contour is a win.

While appearing on Good Morning America, Rihanna’s makeup artist shared a quick and easy way to get a full-body glow. The secret is a Korean washcloth. The cloth is an exfoliating towel that can work wonders on your knees and elbows. I can vouch for this Korean cloth. It’s a game-changer!
Lipstick cures all
Rihanna’s makeup always looks flawless. But even when she’s not wearing a full face, she always looks so put together.
