While visiting the talk show Lorraine, Naomi Campbell’s strange eating habits were put on front street. “I eat when I feel like it,” she said with a chuckle. “I don’t starve myself. If I wanna do a day of just not eating, I do it.” She also added that on the days she doesn’t eat, she’ll chug water or juice instead.

None of this is planned, though. Naomi continued by saying she goes with how she’s feeling. Sometimes that means she forgoes food for a day or two at a time.

One meal per day

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But for Naomi Campbell, that’s not necessarily true.  She told the Wallstreet Journal (via The Sun), “Lunch is my dinner because I really only eat once a day.”

This definitely sounds like a form of intermittent fasting. We’re not sure how Naomi is able to do it, but we admire her willpower. On a much sweeter note, she does allow some room in her diet for a cheat snack. “Sunday is my treat, so I’ll make desserts, my cakes and puddings,” she said.

She beat her candy addiction

When it’s time for Naomi Campbell to do some shopping, Whole Foods is her store of choice. She even took the subscribers of her YouTube channel along during a grocery store shopping video.

Despite the fact that she shops at a healthy store, she confessed that she prefers to eat candy. And since she stopped smoking and doesn’t drink any alcohol, candy became her new vice. Thankfully, she was able to kick her candy addiction and now opts for fruit instead, such as peaches, grapes, and Japenese pears.

I can’t imagine a life without candy and apparently, Naomi can’t either!

She stocks up on supplements

We all know that we must get in our daily dose of vitamins and supplements. Most of us rely on our diet to supply these essentials, while others stock up on supplements to get the job done. Naomi Campbell shared her day-to-day routine on YouTube and confirmed she’s all about the pills, potions, and powders.

Naomi shared over 20 different pills, potions, and powders that she swears by, from avocado powder to popeye seeds under her tongue.

Beyonce brought the infamous Master Cleanse (also known as the Lemonade Diet) onto our radar. And since then, it seems like everyone has given this difficult liquid fast a shot. I am guilty of purchasing all the products, mixing them, taking one sip, and opting to just go sit in a corner hungry versus finishing the drink.

The concoction now comes together pre-mixed for those of us who are feeling lazy (you can actually buy some here). We highly doubt Naomi is buying jugs of the pre-made lemonade diet, though. She’s actually a pro at following the detox and has done it multiple times. Yes, we said multiple.

Back in 2010, Naomi told Oprah Winfrey (via E! News) she does the cleanse three times a year. “The most I’ve ever done it for is 18 days,” she shared. “It’s good to clean out your body once in a while.”

The cleanse is definitely not for the weak, and Naomi is obviously in a league of her own.

Naomi Campbell’s strange eating habits were highlighted during an interview with Harpers Bazaar. While following her around for 24 hours, the supermodel shared that she once “went to this place” that taught her how to take care of her body from the inside out. As a result, she decided she no longer wanted to consume pork, chicken, or anything else she deemed “unhealthy.”

Even though she was surprised by how she was able to eliminate meat from her diet, she’s now more content than ever with her new vegetarian-friendly lifestyle. She even makes sure to pack a lunch on workdays so she doesn’t slip up when she’s on-the-go.
