Real Housewives of Atlanta Episode 4 Recap: Todd is Running Kandi’s Show

Kandi Burruss took so many L’s on this week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, I bet she’s sitting at home watching herself on t.v. with that same hideous look on her face.  In case you haven’t noticed, Kandi is always the one to throw rocks and then hide her hands. She has this odd way of stirring up the drama, but then playing dumb and acting like she has no idea why everyone’s not getting along.
Anywaytho, let’s get to the show.
Kandi is having a conversation with her husband, Todd Tucker, who coincidentally has an office at her Kandi Factory building. Um, why? He’s the first one that wants to brag about having some big time producer or editing or video recording job (I don’t know what the hell that man does, do you?) and yet, he’s posted up in his wife’s office and trying to run shyt? Smh. Kandi looks so dumb right now *Rihanna voice* and I’m starting to think that Mama Joyce is right about Todd. He’s turning out to be nothing but a user and a loser.

Todd is sitting there trying to tell Kandi that her employees are too comfortable and aren’t propelling her to the next level in her career. Okay, let’s see…Don Juan says he has worked with Kandi for 12 years, Todd and Kandi have been married for less than a year. Before Todd’s zygote looking azz was even in the picture, Kandi’s businesses and song writing was poppin’, so Mr. Todd Tucker is clearly just trying to play games by putting these thoughts into Kandi’s head. Since she’s so weak-minded and desperate to have a huzzzzbaaannnddd, she can’t even see through his b.s.
Kandi and Todd have a meeting with the team (again, why is Todd even involved in a team meeting if he ain’t even a part of the damn team?). Don Juan takes offense to what’s being said and he feels that Todd was overstepping his boundaries.

Don Juan eventually has a private conversation with Kandi to let her know that it wasn’t right that Todd was trying to butt in on what they had going on. And you know what Kandi did right? This blubbering idiot went right back to Todd and told him everything.
Todd has a one-on-one meeting with Don Juan and my gawd, things got heated! Don Juan mentioned something about Todd having a blank damn resume. If Todd had a wig, that thang would have been snatched!
In the end, Todd tells Don Juan that he wants him to be the manager and oversee all of the projects that they have going on so that Kandi ‘s businesses can succeed.
I’m sorry, but if Todd takes Kandi for every last penny I’m gonna laugh my azz off. How can she not realize that he doesn’t have her best interests at heart? All Todd sees is dollar signs and I really don’t think he’s in love with Kandi. It’s quite telling that starting a family with her is not on his ‘to do’ list.
What did you think of the team meeting? Are you on Kandi and Todd’s side or do you side with Don Juan?

Nene Leakes, Porsha Stewart, Phaedra Parks and Kandi meet up for a spa day.  Can someone let me know when Nene and Phaedra became bff’s? I must have missed that memo.

Kandi and her big damn mouth bring up Apollo’s lies about meeting up with Kenya Moore in Los Angeles. Nene tells Kandi that she thinks that Apollo is “lying about lying”. Um, camel mouth say what?!

Porsha, being the ultimate sheep, agrees with Nene, and Phaedra just sits there unbothered.  Really though, these women just want to have a reason to hate Kenya, it’s very odd.  I know she’s a drama queen and all but come on, at some point you just have to accept her and her fabulousness and move along with your life.

Two-faced, flip-flopping Kandi meets up with Kenya for a boxing class. At the end of the session, she tells Kenya that Nene and Porsha think Apollo was “lying about lying” about their encounter. Cue the waterworks because Kenya’s about to go for that Academy Award, y’all!
Kenya runs off crying and Kandi chases after her with that dumb azz look on her face. Kenya calls the ladies a whole bunch of bytches and vows to not let them knock her down.
*Deep sigh*
Kenya is not living if she’s not playing the victim. I swear she thinks someone is after her at all hours of the day. It must be exhausting being her.
