2012 was a great year for reality t.v. and I wanted to highlight some of my favorite reality stars and a few of their most memorable moments. So ladies and gents, I present to you my top 5 favorite reality t.v. stars of 2012!
5. Kimbella Vanderhee – Love & Hip Hop New York
How could you not love Love & Hip Hop New York’s Kimbella Vanderhee? Kimbella took season two of the New York series from snorefest to tantalizing as she admitted to having relations with cast mate Emily Bustamante’s baby daddy Fabolous and subsequently got stomped by resident bitter duck Chrissy Lampkin. Not only did Kimbella take those punches like a champ, she waltzed her ditzy azz into the bathroom, looked at herself in the mirror and proclaimed, “(I) still look pretty!” Kimbella went on to get dragged and pummeled by newcomer Erica Mena as well and yet, this chick never backed down from anyone! What I loved most about her was that she never spoke negatively about any of her cast mates until they started messing with her. Instead of running around and popping off at the mouth, Kimbella was stuck in her own little bubble full of butterflies and lilies without a care in the world. Even when her hair caught on fire in a club, she played it off like the classy heaux that she is! I admire her for her carefree spirit but apparently the producers of the series did not because Kimbella was not asked to return for season three of the show *sad face*
2. Stevie J. – Love & Hip Hop Atlanta
Those of you who have followed my blog since its inception might recall that Stevie J. was the inspiration for my original blog background and his presence on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta was ultimately my reason for starting this website. To me, Stevie is a reality t.v. gem sent from the heavens above. Never has a man gone on national television claiming two girlfriends, riding around Atlanta on the passenger side of his best friend’s ride with a peepee covered pregnancy test in his back pocket. Stevie is a dream come true for a lover of television like myself. He doesn’t hold back, he says what’s on his mind, and best of all, he gives zero fawks about them heauxs!
1. Milania Giudice – Real Housewives of New Jersey
You all probably thought that I would list Queen Teresa Giudice of Paterson as my number one pick but I didn’t want to be too predictable so instead, I picked her daughter Milania Giudice as my favorite reality t.v. star of 2012! I remember when season one of the Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered and Milania was just a little peanut that was begging for a whooping. Three seasons later, nothing much has changed! The story lines have gotten heavier and emotionally draining for the cast and the viewers but we could always count on Milania to provide us with some comic relief. Remember when she told Juicy Joe “Gimme pizza you old troll” or when she told her big sister, “You’re not a cooker, you’re a h**ker”. Aww, she’s such a precious little angel face! I live for Milania’s one-liners and I can’t wait to see what kind of madness she spews on season five of the show!
So instead of putting Teresa you put her daughter instead? lol!
