On June 20, it was announced that Porsha Williams and her fiancé Dennis McKinley had broken up eight months after getting engaged. We can’t say we were surprised to hear the news, though, because there were so many signs that their relationship was doomed.
She’s vacationing alone
In June 2019, Porsha jetted off for, what she described as, “much-needed vacation” with her family. The reality star left Atlanta behind on Father’s Day weekend to hang out at the Costa Hollywood Beach Resort in Hollywood, Fla., according to People. And, of course, there was no Dennis in sight.
“Porsha was spotted eating with her family at the resort’s rooftop pool lounge Cielo and cuddling her adorable three-month-old daughter at the pool,” a source told the magazine.
Her cryptic Father’s Day message
It appears that they spent Dennis’ first Father’s Day apart, but Porsha didn’t let the day end before giving a shoutout to her daughter’s daddy on Instagram.
However, many of her followers noticed that her message seemed very generic — as in, she just wanted to keep it simple and keep it pushin’!
“Happy 1st Fathers Day Dennis! Pj @pilarjhena is blessed to have such a wonderful dad like you. It’s beautiful to witness the bond you have with our tiny angel.”
One of her followers summed it up best with this comment: “Yep!!🤦🏽♀️ They not together anymore 😢😩😩 That was that co-parent Fathers Day S/O frfr!!”
She unfollowed him…again
Porsha first unfollowed Dennis back in May, according to Us Weekly, which initially sparked the breakup rumors. Her mom Diane and her sister Lauren also unfollowed him. Once internet sleuths caught wind about Porsha’s social media activity, she re-followed him hours later.
And now, Us Weekly reports Porsha once again unfollowed her baby daddy on June 19.
She’s no longer wearing her engagement ring
Porsha attended the Ultimate Women’s Expo on June 1, and while her engagement ring was missing, she was wearing a simple band on her ring finger.
But by the time she jetted off to Los Angeles on June 13 to take the above picture (yes, that’s former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Caroline “Thick as Thieves” Manzo next to her), Porsha’s ring was gone, and she has been seen ringless ever since.
Cheating allegations
As if all of the above isn’t enough for a new mom to deal with, there are also rumors floating around that Dennis was sticking his hot dog in other women.
A fellow YouTuber accused Dennis of cheating with WAGS Atlanta star Sincerely Ward. Sincerely said in a statement to E! News: “I really have no clue where this came from. It’s bizarre, I’ve never met Dennis.”
Dennis told Us Weekly that he was taking action against the YouTuber and was represented by his lawyer, Michael T. Sterling of Dreyer Sterling, LLC. His attorney also added that he would “vigorously investigate these matters and take the appropriate legal measures on their behalf.”
The official announcement
E! News reported on June 20 that Porsha and Dennis had officially decided to go their separate ways. Neither of them has made a statement at this time.
We were really looking forward to their New Year’s Eve wedding because we just knew it was going to be over-the-top and glam (just like Porsha), but we can’t say we didn’t see this split coming.
