Bravo TV: Killing relationships since 2006!
It took me about two weeks to compile this list of all of the marriages from the Real Housewives that have ended in divorce. I like to call this, the Bravo TV Relationship Curse!
This list does not include couples that were never legally married nor does it include couples that are currently legally separated. Enjoy!
Tamra and Simon Barney – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY
After eleven years and three children together, Simon and Tamra threw in the towel on their “traditional” marriage. Simon was the alpha male in this relationship and he wanted Tamra to take on the submissive wife role. Well, you can take the girl out of the trailer park but….well, you know the rest!
Simon and Tamra have both gone their separate ways with Simon shacking up with a younger and hotter version of Tamara while Tamra is now engaged to Eddie Judge who is definitely NOT a homosexual.
Jeana and Matt Keough – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY

Matt was pretty much nonexistent when the Real Housewives of Orange County made its debut in 2006. He was a walking sack of potatoes, according to Jeana, after he was hit in the head by a baseball during a major league game and suffered extensive brain damage. Jeana and Matt lived separate lives under the same roof as they raised their three children (Shane, Kara and Colton) together. Eventually, enough was enough for Jeana and she filed for divorce. Jeana famously stated that she and Matt got married for all the wrong reasons (physical attraction). I mean, who wouldn’t be attracted to Matt? So seksi!
Lynne and Frank Curtin – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY
Twenty years, two kids, and numerous evictions later, Lynne Curtin pulled the plug on her marriage from her husband Frank Curtin. Lynne and Frank’s relationship troubles were featured on the OC Housewives series and in the end, Frank’s lies and his inability to live within his means is what damaged and broke the family apart. I couldn’t find any updated information on Lynne nor Frank. They have pretty much faded into obscurity (which is probably for the best).
Vicki and Don Gunvalson – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ORANGE COUNTY
Vicki Gunvalson’s love tank was so empty that in 2011, she and Donn Gunvalson decided to quit the charade and go their separate ways…kind of. Vicki and Donn are still finalizing their divorce but they still share the same roof in their Coto De Caza home (which Vicki was recently awarded ownership of). After renewing their vows on television, the allegations of cheating by both Vicki and Donn plus the stress of filming all played a negative impact on their sixteen year marriage. Vicki has since upgraded moved on with Brooke Ayers and Donn has a (mystery) girlfriend of his own.
Mary and Rich Amons – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DC
Well, I definitely didn’t see this one coming. After twenty-six years of marriage, Mary Amons filed for divorce from her husband, Rich Amons, in May of 2012. The stars of the short-lived DC Housewives series headed straight to splitsville after “growing apart” (those are Mary’s words, not mine). Mary and Rich have five children together.
Michaele and Tareq Sahali – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DC
White House party crashers and the two nutty stars of the Real Housewives DC series divorced after Michaele Salahi came to her senses and left Tareq for Journey band member, Neal Schon. In case you forgot, Tareq initially thought that the love of his life, Michaele, had been kidnapped and so he filed a missing person’s report. The authorities were able to track down Michaele backstage at a Journey concert getting her groupie on. Michaele advised the authorities that she had not been kidnapped, she just wanted to get away from kookoodoo Tareq and spend some time with her new boyfriend, Neal. Once news got back to Tareq on Michaele’s whereabouts, all hell broke loose! Tareq ended up filing a 50 million dollar lawsuit against Neal for “scheming to break up his marriage and capitalize on the split for business purposes”. The case was eventually thrown out. Tareq is now running for governor of Virginia while Michaele is now engaged to Neal.
Cat & Charles Ommanney – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DC
After a little over a year of marriage, resident mean girl Cat Ommanney and her husband Charles filed for divorce shortly after the DC Housewives series wrapped. Cat moved to DC in 2008, with her two young daughters, to pursue a relationship with Charles. After five months, they were married but their relationship quickly crumbled. Charles blames the show for wrecking his marriage and for possibly wrecking his career as a White House photographer. Following the divorce, Charles fled D.C. without notifying Cat of his whereabouts and Cat’s two daughters were sent back to London to live with their father. Cat is probably still wandering aimlessly around Chocolate City without a friend or family member in sight *tear*. *Update* Cat reportedly gave birth to a baby girl on December 28th. Umm, how old is this lady? And who’s the daddy?
Stacie and Jason Turner – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF DC
What the hayle is in the water in D.C.? After fourteen years of marriage and two children, Stacie and Jason Turner called it quits on their marriage in February of 2012. On the D.C. series, Jason was very supportive of Stacie’s quest to find her biological mother and everything seemed fine in their marriage. I wonder what happened?
LuAnn and the Count de Lesseps – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK
Aww, look at the Count struggling to put his swollen hand in that little pants pocket.
After sixteen years of marriage and two kids, LuAnn de Lesseps filed for divorce from her husband, Count Alex de Lesseps. The Count was hardly ever filmed during the Housewives of NY series as he was busy traveling the world attending to his other woman Countly duties. LuAnn didn’t mind too much since she was busy raising their children and parading around town with her nose in the air. In case you forgot, the Count informed LuAnn, via email, that their marriage was over and he was in love with an Ethiopian princess. Ouch! That must have hurt. LuAnn has also moved on and is in a long term relationship with Jacques Azoulay. According to the show, they are thinking about having a baby but according to LuAnn’s mom, LuAnn’s tubes are tied. Oh, lawd!
Ramona and Mario Singer – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK
After 22-years of marriage, Ramona Singer filed for divorce from her husband Mario on January 28, 2014. Rumors of Mario and his cheating ways have haunted Ramona ever since the show premiered on Bravo. In some scenes, if a pretty chick walked by, Mario would friggin oggle her and pretty much undress her with his eyes. But all men look so people chalked it up to Mario just being one of the boys. But on a cold weekend in January, the shyt hit the fan when Ramona walked in on Mario and his new girlfriend, Kasey Dexter. Ramona unleashed the turtle time on their azzes and the police were called. Ramona told the cops that Mario had choked her but she was clearly lying. The cops left without arresting anyone but a few days later, Ramona gained some self-respect for herself, went to the courthouse and filed for divorce.
Deshawn and Eric Snow – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA
This divorce breaks my heart. Poor naive Deshawn Snow thought that she had it all: three beautiful kids, a loving husband that supported all of her endeavors, a beautiful home, money, cars, designer labels etc. Come to find out, her husband of twelve years, Eric Snow, was dipping into another woman’s guacamole…and he got her pregnant! Eric was the one to file for divorce and he packed his bags to be with his jumpoff; an old college flame by the name of Marisela Alvarado. Here’s a picture of Eric and his baby mama who gave birth to a little girl in August of 2010:

Lisa and Ed Hartwell – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA
And the dumb basic bird award goes to…Lisa Sharon Millette Wu Sweat Hartwell!
Ed Hartwell *fans self* what a fine specimen you are! Lisa clearly is crazy for bankrupting this man and leaving him fo’ dead *Mama Dee voice*. Ok, she didn’t really leave him for dead but my point is, Lisa is dumb for messing this one up! The couple share a son together and I am guessing that they are both currently unemployed since Ed got dropped from the Atlanta Falcons football team and Lisa…well, Lisa never really had a job to begin with.
You can come live with me, Ed! Don’t forget the bubble bath soap!
Kordell and Porsha Stewart – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA
Now this is one of those divorce that you could see coming from a mile away but you just didn’t expect it to happen this soon! After a year and a half of marriage, Kordell Stewart has filed for divorce from his much younger (and more beautiful) wife Porsha. Kordell was blasted for being controlling during the taping of the series and Porsha spilled her guts to a therapist about how Kordell was not by her side when she miscarried their baby. Something tells me Porsha will not have trouble finding a new man but she might have some issues getting a job. Good luck out there in the employment world!
Taylor and Russell Armstrong – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS
One of the saddest case of Real Housewives divorces is Taylor Armstrong and Russell Armstrong. The couple had about zero chemistry during season one of the Beverly Hills Housewives series. Taylor famously blew through the couple’s money by throwing a lavish birthday party for their four-year old daughter, Kennedy. But after eight years of marriage, and claims of domestic violence and emotional abuse, Taylor filed for divorce. Sadly, Russell took his own life a month after Taylor filed for divorce.
Camille and Kelsey Grammer – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS
Thirteen years and two surrogate kids later, Camille Grammer filed for divorce from cheating, can’t keep his thangthang in his pants, Kelsey Grammer. In 2010, Camille listed the Hollywood favorite “irreconcilable difference” as her reason for wanting to split from Kelsey. What she should have listed was the fact that her then husband was frolicking in another woman’s (Kayte Walsh) lady pond. Kelsey went on to get his jumpoff pregnant but unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage. Kelsey then proposed marriage to Kayte, she accepted, and they wed in 2010. They got pregnant again and Kayte gave birth to their daughter in 2012. Camille isn’t losing any sleep over Kelsey’s though. She has moved on to date the Greek hunk Dimitri Charalambopoulos.
Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS
After ten years of marriage and three children, Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finally called it quits. The couple famously argued throughout seasons one and two of the series so it really wasn’t a surprise when they announced their separation in July of 2012. Adrienne is now getting her cougar on with Rod Stewart’s son Sean.
BETHENNEY FRANKEL & JASON HOPPY – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK
Bethenny Frankel of Real Housewives of New York got desperate and married Jason Hoppy in 2010. The couple have a daughter together. After two years, Bethenny threw in the towel on her marriage. Everyone pretty much knew this marriage was doomed. Bethenny has way too many mental issues to allow her to be in a healthy relationship with someone as kindhearted as Jason.
Marysol Patton and Phillippe Pautesta-Herder – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MIAMI
Marysol Patton of Real Housewives of Miami and Phillippe Pautesta-Herder of Miami Housewives – The couple married in 2010 and separated shortly after.
DINA & TOMMY MANZO – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY
After eight years of marriage, Dina Manzo separated from her husband Tommy Manzo in 2013. Dina broke the news of the separation on Twitter. Tommy admitted to cheating on Dina during their taped VH1 wedding special, so I’m not sure why she expected a different outcome after they got married. The couple is still legally married but a divorce is imminent.
PHAEDRA PARKS & APOLLO NIDA – REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA
Update: 12/21/14 – After marrying in 2009 after Apollo Nida’s first stint in federal prison, he and attorney Phaedra Parks said “I do” and later welcomed two sons, Ayden and Dylan, into the world. Their marriage seemed to be strained on episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta but everything really erupted once Apollo was convicted of mail fraud, wire fraud, identity theft, and a host of other charges. At his sentencing, his wife was nowhere to be found. Phaedra has been over this marriage for awhile and now that Apollo will be in prison for the next 8 years, she has finally pulled the plug and announced on Watch What Happens Live that she will be divorcing her felon hubby. In not so surprising news, I predicted this divorce back on 8/11/2012!
Whew, that was a long list. I have worn my fingers down to the nubs trying to type out all this mess! In an interesting twist, ALL of the DC Housewives relationships have ended. I wonder how many of them regret signing up for the show? They’re left with no men and no checks coming through for a second season of the series #losing.
So, my question to you is, which Housewives couple do you think will be next to file for divorce? Will it be Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida? (UPDATE: Phaedra confirmed on 12/21/14 that she will divorce Apollo. I saw this coming two years ago!) Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas? Juicy Joe and Teresa Giudice? I guess we have to wait and “watch what happens”!

Wow! That's a lot of divorces but you can't put the blame solely on Bravo. These couples surely had problems before the cameras started rolling.
