Love & Hip Hop ATL - Benzino Confirms the Show is Scripted!

Mona Scott-Young, the executive producer for VH1's Love & Hip Hop series, wants us all to believe that the show is unscripted.  Someone needs to give Mona the memo that Benzino "Head and Shoulders" has let the cat out of the bag!

After putting out an Amber Alert for his neck, Benzino appeared on "RapFix Live" to talk about how he initially met Karlie "Senior Citizen" Redd, and how he got pulled into the ratchetness of this show.

More after the jump

Benzino was originally asked to be on the show to be the voice of reason for Stevie J. and to help him guide his new artist's career.  "I had a call from Stevie, I was in Miami and he was like, 'Yo, I got this artist, she's gonna be the next Nicki Minaj, but in Spanish,'" Benzino recalled.

The next Nicki Minaj? LMAO! Stevie was spreading lies, fairy tales and fallacies!  The next Nicki Minaj turned out to be the Puerto Rican WWF Princess, Joseline Hernandez of course.  After Benzino went to Atlanta to meet up with Stevie and Joseline, he was introduced to Karlie Redd.  The two started dating two months before the show started filming.

"I had met Karlie off camera," Benzino explains. "We went on a date off camera, and there was a connection. The next thing I know, I got a call from Mona (Scott-Young)."

Mona told Benzino that he couldn't pursue an off-camera relationship with any of the cast members (Mona is clearly running shit! Boss bitch!) so Benzino decided to make their relationship public by letting the cameras film their budding romance.

"I'm pretty much a private person when it comes to my love life except for filming myself eating ass, but Stevie was already in (the show) so I said, 'Why not?' " he said.

And there you have it! The show tried to make it seem like Benzino met Karlie after she busted out that dusty two-step during that tragic "Louis, Prada, Gucci" performance she put on for Stevie.  But in reality their relationship had already been established at that point! Sneaky sneaky, Mona!
